This page explains what data Mount Etna Tours (the website at mount-etna-tours.com) collects, why, and how you can ask us to delete it. We aim to keep this honest, plain, and short.
1. Who we are
Mount Etna Tours is an independent affiliate guide to visiting Mount Etna in Sicily, Italy. We are an affiliate partner of GetYourGuide and earn commission when readers book through our links. We do not operate any tours ourselves.
2. What we collect directly
We do not run a contact form, a newsletter, or any account system. We do not directly collect names, emails, payment details, or any personally identifiable information when you browse this site.
Our web host generates standard server logs containing your IP address, browser user-agent, timestamps, and the pages you visit. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes and are not used for marketing or shared with third parties.
3. Third-party widget — GetYourGuide
Our tour-availability and analytics widgets are loaded directly from GetYourGuide. When the widget loads on your browser, GetYourGuide may set its own cookies, capture your IP address, and track interactions for analytics and fraud prevention. We see only aggregate, anonymised conversion data from GetYourGuide — we do not see your individual interactions.
If you click through to GetYourGuide and complete a booking, GetYourGuide's own privacy policy governs that booking and any personal data you provide.
4. Cookies
We set no first-party tracking or advertising cookies. The GetYourGuide widget may set its own cookies (described above). We do not display ads on this site.
5. Your GDPR / UK GDPR rights
Visitors in the EU, UK, and other jurisdictions with similar rules have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold. Because we do not directly collect identifiable data, in most cases we have nothing about you to delete. If you have a concern about server logs or about data held by GetYourGuide as a result of using our widget, contact us at the address below and we will help where possible.
